Frutiger Home is a decorating sandbox: you pick a house layout, fill it with frutiger aero furniture, then live in it with friends. The Steam page lists it as Simulation, developed and published by frutigerdev — one developer, no studio behind it.
The store page describes the loop in three steps: pick a home layout, add from a wide range of frutiger-themed decor, hang out with your friends. The aesthetic is the hook — glossy glass, aqua blues, rounded shapes, bubbles and houseplants, the frutiger aero look people recognise from mid-2000s tech advertising.

What to do first
- Play the demo before launch. It is free, it starts you in the Eco house layout, and the developer's own announcement says decorating progress carries over into the full version.
- Decide early whether you are decorating alone or with friends. Co-op is listed, and almost every community request during the demo was about doing this together — media sharing, music sharing, hosting.
- Do not plan a build around windows and doors yet. It is the most consistent complaint in the demo threads, and it is a mechanics complaint rather than a bug.
- Check your graphics card if you are on Intel Arc. The only startup-crash report in the forums is from an Arc card, and it was never resolved in public.
Known open questions
The demo forums have 28+ threads and almost none of them are about whether the game is good. They are about answers the demo never gave. Still open as of 26 September 2026:
- Player cap for online co-op. Steam confirms online co-op exists; no store text, announcement or developer post states a maximum.
- Dedicated / always-on hosting. A thread on 12 August asks for a permanent private server so friends can join any time. No developer reply confirmed it.
- Console versions. Asked on 16 September. Nothing announced.
- Day/night and weather toggles, a house-wide music player, faces on the jelly characters. Player requests from the demo period, not confirmed features.
Those sit in the "wait and see" bucket. This page gets updated when the launch build answers them.
Common questions
Is Frutiger Home related to other frutiger aero games? The Steam page credits frutigerdev as both developer and publisher, and mentions no other studio or franchise. Players ask this in the forums because the aesthetic overlaps with other upcoming games — the store page is the only thing that settles it, and it names one developer.
Is it a game or a toy? Both, by the store page's own description: you build, then you live in what you built, with activities afterwards. No win condition, combat or timer is described.
Does my demo house survive launch? The developer's 5 June 2026 announcement says the house saves automatically as you decorate and that it carries over into the full game. Treat that as the official word until a launch patch note says otherwise.
